Development:
Nowadays under construction are three stations from Central railway station to the Centre of the city: Teatral'na (nearly Teatre of Opera and Ballet), Central'na and Muzeyna.
In January 2008 were published the new plans of development before 2012:
two stations to the west from Komunarivska (Parus, Parus-2) and 3 or 5 stations to the east from Vokzalna (Teatralna, Centralna, Muzeyna, Dnipro, Pivdenny Vokzal). Pivdenny Vokzal station is connected to railway terminal Dnipropetrovsk Pivdenny (Dnipropetrovsk Southern). The Terminal should be served northern and southern suburbs by the new Rail-Bus system (Light train), especially in UEFA Euro-2012 games period.
Total length of first line will be 11.82 km., with 9 stations (planning train trip 16 min.).
In the future perspective up to the 80 km. of ways within 3 lines (look lines schemes).
